Mohave Defensive Shooters Club

The Mohave Defensive Shooters Club is affiliated with the International Defensive Pistol Association (IDPA).  This is a sport shooting club for the education of its members and the public, to practice in the use of standard defensive handguns and carry holsters.  IDPA is a shooting style that uses practical scenarios, included are props, barricades and a set of targets representing both good and bad people.  The number of targets typically range between 3 and 5, when shooting a timer is used, your score is based on the target hits and your time.

IDPA shooting not only improves your marksmanship and gun handling skills, it is FUN as well. 

To fulfill our goals this club is open for all women and men, and youth of at least12 years of age with parental supervision.  We hope that you will learn and enjoy defensive shooting, and want to join our Club and the IDPA and the NRA.

Monthly match Shooting fees are $5.00, this covers the cost of targets, frame replacement, etc.

Special Match Shooting Fees will vary and will be announced prior to each match.
